Setting up a drumset, changing guitar strings, calculating ohm values for bass rigs, handing out music stand lights, doing a line check, guiding a quick-change in the middle of a show, planning a tour casing and cable looms or coordinating logistics - taking care of your band’s or the local backline is as varied as it is exciting.
This workshop is for anyone fascinated by instruments – whether or not you already have experience with professional backline setups, or whether or not you “only” helped out a friend’s band once before – all of you are very welcome to join!
You'll get hands-on experience assembling and dismantling an original touring backline, learning its ins and outs, quirks, and secrets. We’ll also dive into the bigger picture of backline work and connect with each other as a community.
