Workshop Production:
Behind the Scenes

This one-day workshop offers an introduction to production management and event management in the field of event technology. Participants will gain insight into how events are organized and successfully executed — from planning through implementation.
The focus is on the role of production management at events: from scheduling and timing to coordinating the various technical disciplines (sound, lighting, stage, video) and communicating with artists, service providers, and venues.
Using a realistic event scenario, participants take on responsibility themselves, make decisions, and experience firsthand the challenges that arise in day-to-day event management — and how to handle them professionally.
The workshop teaches fundamental skills in event planning, organization, and budget and resource management, and highlights the demands of day-to-day work in production management.
Ideal for career changers, bookers, musicians, and anyone interested in event management, live productions, and event technology.
